Restaurant Playa Forti

This restaurant was built on the ruins of a fortress constructed by English during the Napoleonic era around 1807-1816. The canons are still in front of the restaurant which was constructed in 1958 by the Dutchman Leslie Jenkin. The restaurant can best be described as a non pretensious family friendly restaurant specialized in authentic local food and fresh sea food dishes. This beautiful and historic site high up the rocks, offers visitors a superb view of the most Western part of the island and is a popular cliff diving destination.
