Pirate Bay Beach Club & Restaurant

Sol Food

Sol Food is a small casual place where we serve lunch and dinner on our deck. We live downstairs and have a 3 bedroom rental upstairs, Sunshine Getaway. Westpunt is at the far west end of the island, a small fishing village. Our home is on the Weg Naar Playa Kalki about a half mile before you get to the Playa Kalki Beach Resort. To find us, take the road across from Jaanchie's restaurant and a left between the cemetery and ball field, open Friday, Saturday and Sunday noon to 8PM, reservations are highly recommended. We are not a high end restaurant nor do we wish to be one. If you are staying in Westpunt or Lagun, Sol Food is a great place to meet with old or new friends and have something to eat, just simple American food. The East end of Curacao is an hour away, near the city is over a half hour. We highly recommend that you do take the drive to see the beaches and National Parks. If you have time, come by for lunch or an early dinner and drive back during the daylight. Enjoy!

Hidden in one of the oldest neighborhoods of Curacao, Pietermaai Smal, one of the new hot spots on the island just opened in 2011 featuring Carib Asian cuisine.In a combination of colonial hip and loungy style, Ginger mingles exotic spices and ingredients from Asia and the Caribbean. Hemingway Beach at the Lions Dive & Beach Resort offers four seaside areas - covered and open-air - and is opened 7 days a week for breakfast, lunch, dinner and more! The internationally orientated menu offers great choices for everyone. Hemingway's cozy bar is opened non-stop from 9.00 AM till 0.00 AM. Craving a refreshing drink while working on your tan? Willemstad Culinary Adventure: Private 3-Hour Foodie Tour

Experience Curacao with all the five senses savoring its unique cuisine at three personally and carefully chosen restaurants in historical Willemstad. At each restaurant there will be two samples of food and one drink (one hot drink and three cocktails). During the tour you will also see the highlights of the city while learning all about the history and culture. Start the tour in Riffort Otrobanda in the afternoon. After a short stroll, we will visit the recently renovated area of Kura Hulanda where you can savor lunch. Then we will cross the iconic Emma bridge to our next stop. At the Handelskade, we will enjoy two (2) local bites and a cocktail. Next, we will stroll through main street and have two different samplers with a cocktail in a cozy alley. Lastly we head back to Otrobanda, where you can taste a typical local dessert accompanied by a cup of coffee or tea while enjoying a fantastic view of Handelskade.

WWII Museum Curacao
